Len, Thanks, this was is what I needed to hear today. As I look out on a ground covered with white snow on this March 23 in New Jersey, I know that it will soon go away and turn to water nourishing what grows. The white ground mirrors your comments on Psalm 130 and Ezekiel 37, like seeing a valley of bones. Your images helped me today and I know they will guide my message to help my congregates. Jesus will not do for us what we can do for ourselves! Bingo! Jesus gives live — Lazarus, come forth; we unbind for service. Has there been a time when people were more wound up? Thanks, Rabbi! Much to ponder here.
Thank you Pastor Sweet. Your ministry is invaluable to me as I continue to learn and discern what and how to preach and teach, to make disciples that will go to any length to follow Jesus. Through 30 years of church planting I’ve been apologetic to be primarily a songwriter rather than a preacher with three solid points. Your ministry has encouraged me to embrace the creative Spirit and to teach in pictures and stories as Jesus did and still does.
