Webinar – “The Passover Seder” with Rabbi Feinberg
When: Thursday, April, 6th. 10:00 (PST) / 1:00pm (EST)
The Passover Seder is the most widely celebrated ritual among Jews, and more and more Christians want to experience it, as well. Although the Hebrew Bible describes different “menus” for the Passover evening meal, nowhere is the Seder mentioned in Scripture. It was invented by the Rabbinic sages of the 2nd and 3rd Centuries; and it was observed both by Jews and early Christians who saw themselves as Jews and gave their own special meaning to the ritual. The Seder is not just about eating symbolic foods; it is about telling the Passover story through the foods, using narrative and metaphor that have evolved through the centuries. The Haggadah, the text we use on this Holy night has no back cover. It continues to evolve.
The Seder might be the first EPIC ritual in all history. Join us along with Rabbi Robert Feinberg and we will experience it together on the Thursday before Holy Week and Passover. Those who register will receive a short list of foods that will help us to share in what will be an inspiring and joyous time.
All webinar participants will be emailed their Webinar Access Pass one hour prior to event.
